380 square metres of bouldering in an old worsted mill. Around 250 problems, reset on a rolling basis, and mats the whole way down. Turn up in trainers — we'll sort the rest.

Grades run by colour
Every problem wears a coloured tag at its start hold. Start on greens, follow one colour top to bottom, and move up when it stops feeling hard. Nobody's counting.
Never bouldered before?
Your first hour
No booking a course, no gear to buy, no partner needed — bouldering is low walls over thick mats, so you just climb and drop off. Here's how a first visit goes.
Turn up
Wear something you can move in and bring trainers. Shoe hire is £4 and honestly worth it. No need to book — though a first session gets you a short brief, so give us five minutes' notice at the desk.
Ten-minute brief
Someone walks you through the one skill that matters at the start: falling well. How to land, how to read the mats, and how not to walk under someone mid-climb. That's the whole syllabus.
Get on the wall
The gym's yours after that. Start on green tags near the ground, work a colour until it clicks, and rest whenever your fingers ask. Most people last about an hour on day one — that's normal.
Prices
No joining fee, no contract
Pay for the day, or go monthly and cancel whenever. Under-18s and students knock £2 off any pass with an ID at the desk.
